Digital Project Manager

Description
Insomniac Design is a global digital agency headquartered in Washington D.C., with offices in London, Bucharest and Chisinau.  We’re an agile, determined and innovative team organized by functional areas of expertise — Creative, Technology, Strategy, and Management. We specialize in human-centered design with deep focus on design thinking and digital transformation.

The Digital Project Manager is responsible for managing day-to-day client accounts and internal project teams. This role reports to the Account Director and is focused on excellence in delivery — to ensure accounts and projects run smoothly, achieve the highest creative and technical standards, and get results. Success is gauged by the overall quality of work, client happiness, and internal team satisfaction.

This role at Insomniac is the main point of contact on numerous assigned accounts and manages project timelines, reviews, communications, deliverables, and milestones. They’re able to set clear expectations with our clients and teams —  calmly and effectively navigating challenges as they arise — and communicate effectively to delegate and guide project roles across the team. The Project Manager is trusted by the client and Insomniac teams to steer the project based on a creative and technical vision co-developed with Insomniac leadership. In addition to ownership of the project delivery, the Project Manager is expected to develop and maintain a deep understanding of the project as it aligns with the client’s business objectives. They are the point-person for knowledge and answers for both client and Insomniac team members.

In collaboration with the Account Director and leadership team, the person in this role will devise and execute an approach to project and account management that is efficient, strategic, successful, and leads to the growth and retention of client relationships. The role is remote eligible, with a preference towards candidates in the DMV area as we maintain a hybrid office structure.
